 One  day Monsoon Trek to Takmak Fort (Virar) 

 Little Brief :

The Takmak fort is located near Sakwar village, Vasai, Maharashtra. This fort was constructed in the 12th century by King Bheemdev at 2,000+ feet height to keep an eye on Mahim region. The fort is situated at one side of the main hill and surrounded by thick forest. From top of the fort you can enjoy spectacular views of the confluence of the Tansa and Vaitarna rivers to the west of the fort, deep valleys and Vandri lake near Vajreshwari to the north-east.

04:30 pm   Reach the base & have tea

06:30 pm   Reach Borivli Station  & take Churchgate Local

The cost for the trek is Rs 1100/- per head

which includes Travelling from Virar to Base Point & Back to Virar by Private Vehicles, Morning Breakfast and Evening Tea,  Expertise Charges.

Trekking Shoes provide more grip and comfort on the trek

Double pack your valuables/phones in plastic bags

Rainwear / Poncho / Waterproof jacket etc. if you don’t want to get wet
