One Day Trek To Ratangad

As the name speaks, Ratangad is described as “Jewel Fort of Sahyadri”. It gets the name as it is origin for the river “Amrutvahini”. Located in the district of Ahmednagar, it stands tall to 4255 feet above mean sea level. The fort is about 2000 years old and is situated at banks of Bhandardara lake.

The main attraction of this fort is “Amurteshwar” temple which falls into “Hemadpant Era” ( way back to eighth century ). It truly defines the ancient sculpture of our great ancestors due to it’s carving.

Meeting Point : Borivli Stn ( East )  11 : 00 pm

 Pick up Point. Andheri, Bandra, Dadar, Vashi, Kalyan

 2020 Sunday

 

Proceed to Ratanwadi by private vehicle

04.30 am : Reach base village, take Some rest.

06:00 am : Break fast, Round of Introduction, know each other,general Instructions

06:30 am : Start Trek.

09:30 am : Reach top and enjoy view.

10.30 am : Start descending down.

01.00 pm : Reach base Village and Have Lunch

02.00 pm : Start journey to Mumbai.

06.00 pm : Reach Mumbai.

(Timings may vary, with subject to individual’s pace at trek and traffic conditions)

 

The estimated about Expenditure is about Rs 2000 /- Per Head

This will include Kasara Stn to Borivli Stn to Borivali fare for Private Vehicle, Morning Breakfast-Tea, Lunch, Expertise Charges.


List of Items to carry

1. Windcheater

2.Snugly fitting canvas shoes / Sports shoes, Sewing kit, spare shoes laces

3. Rucksack / Shoulder bag which can hold following items

4. Water Bottle (3lts minimum) compulsory, Sun Cap, Spare Cotton Track pant & T- shirt.

5. Personal medical kit (personal medicines if any, prescribed by family doctor).

6. Personal bedding, sleeping Bag / 2 bed sheets & carry mat, safety pins.

7. Torch with spare set of batteries, Light weight towel, plate, tumbler, tea mug/ cup, spoon.

 

Rules and Regulations:

 

1. Smoking and drinking alcohol is strictly prohibited.

2. Sleeveless, low neck, figure hugging shirts/skirts/tops, short pants, hot pants not allowed.

3. Please avoid wearing gold and other jewellery (at own risk). Please do not carry handbags or Jolas or Sling bags on treks.

Cancellation and Refund Policy:

1. If cancellation done prior to 10 days of outing 75% will be refunded.

2. If done prior to 7 days of outing 50% will be refunded

3. After that no refund will be provided.

■ It is up to the individual to arrange their own holiday / accident insurance & each adult would be asked to sign a liability waiver.
■ Adventure Aim hold the right to change the venue, or date, of the event,
■ Event may be cancelled or postponed due to natural calamity, any system error,
■ In case event place or venue is changed, Adventure Aim will notify same to participants by phone, web and Face book, no change in costing will be charged.

  
All our treks are Eco-friendly treks; kindly take care of nature around us. Smoking and Drinking alcohol during trek is strictly prohibited if anyone found doing that will be expelled from trek without refund.
