About:

Prabalmachi is a little hamlet hiding in the hills, so close to our megacity! It offers a picturesque backdrop of two gigantic Sahyadri peaks–Prabalgad and Kalavantin. Enjoy fun time with the glowing fireflies. Just walk along the dense forest and quietly observe these bio-luminescent bodies twinkling all around.

Prabalmachi serves as the base village for famous treks of Prabalgad and Kalavantin forts.

Meeting Point:

Saturday, 00th  at 5:00 pm, Panvel ST Stand

Itinerary:

Day 1: Saturday, 0

5:00 pm Meet Team leads at Panvel station and travel towards Thakurwadi by local transport

6:30 pm Reach base village.

Start trek to Prabalmachi after a round of introduction.

9:00 pm Reach Prabalmachi and freshen up

9:30 pm Enjoy local cuisine for dinner 

10:30 pm Campfire, Masti and retire for the day. 

 

Day 2: Sunday, 0

7:00 am Wake up call and freshen up

8:30 am Start descend post breakfast

10:00 am Start return journey by local transport

11:00 am Reach Panvel station

COVID -19 Checklist for Participants:

Any travel history to/from any foreign country/containment or red zone in the past 14 days

Any symptoms suggestive of COVID-19 during the past 14 days

Age above 45 yrs participants are not allowed to join any events till further notice

Trekkers must carry sufficient amount of sanitizer, masks, gloves, and a personal medical kit for the respective days of the trek.

Trekkers must also carry their separate set of disposable/washable utensils like spoon, plates or cups. This must be used by trekkers during their journey to and fro the base camp.

Apart from the above, trekkers must make sure they carry all the required things,  Remember no sharing will be allowed. Trekkers will be responsible for disposable of their own items.

COVID -19 Guidelines for Participants:

Mask is compulsory to join for any events

Keep at least 1 meter distance during all social and inter personal interactions, trekking

Avoid Touching frequently touched objects and surfaces with bare hands

Living with Corona is the new normal. We must learn to take care of ourselves. It is our responsibility to keep ourselves and our Nation safe from Corona. While doing that we must follow our dreams too.

As you know, there can be last-minute announcements and we will have to follow them. However, we shall try to abide by the Government rules keeping in mind the welfare of our trekkers.

Lakeside Camping at Hadshi

Hadshi Lake is in Maval Taluka of Pune District. It is 115 kms and 48 kms away from Mumbai and Pune respectively. A perfect getaway on a weekend to relax and spend a beautiful time with your family and friends at our Hadshi Lake Campsite. Our Campsite is well developed and illuminated with facilities of Stay, Food and Washroom. The view from the campsite is stunning as you view the Tikona Fort, nearby hills and its reflection on the lake. Gazing stars is the main attraction of lakeside camping where you enjoy the stillness with no thought wandering your mind.

 

 

Itinerary:

Day 1:

● 04:30 pm: Reach Campsite by your own travel (bike/car)

● 05:00 pm: Evening snacks and hot tea will be served once you fresh-n-up.

● One has to carry bags and belongings to the tents pitched at Hadshi lakeside campground.

● Once you settled down, it’s up to you how much you can enjoy the nature of 31st Dec evening with your family members and friends.

● The place is all-time best for bird photography, morning sunrise photography. One can take evening jungle walk around our campsite.

● After the sunset, one can feel the cold night air of Hadshi Lake. And that’s the best time to start New Year Celebration party. One can enjoy BBQ & campfire lakeside. 

● 09:00 pm: Delicious dinner (Veg/Non-Veg) will be ready at the dining area.

● One can enjoy late night cold air & campfire beside the lake.

 

Day 2:

● 07:00 am: the Wakeup call

● 08:00 am: Morning Tea is must if it’s a chilled morning

● 09:00 am: Hot breakfast will be waiting for you 

● 09:30 am: Bye-bye with loads of memories and pictures for the coming year

About:

An eminent tourist attraction, Khadakwasla Dam is a pleasant sight to behold. Built with state-of-the-art engineering, it is located on the outskirts of Pune. The dam is constructed on River Mutha which is the source of water supply in Pune and its suburban regions. Khadakwasla forms a reservoir, called Khadakwasla Lake which is a perfect spot for a pleasant getaway. The reservoir occupies around 22,000 square kilometres area and runs 35 metres deep. As the stream runs down the cliff, it resembles a heavy rush of water flowing effortlessly down the dam.
