Sandhan Valley Hanging Camps weekend

Sandhan valley is one of the greatest canyons in the Sahyadri mountain ranges. It is a very good combination of a canyon and a valley. Located in the Nagar district, near the famous fort Ratangad, Sandhan valley is undoubtedly The Valley of Suspense. Walking through the narrow streak of valley with 300 ft rock walls on both the sides is a lifetime experience. Descending full Sandhan valley is always a memorable outing and the overnight stay under the sparkling sky, along the reservoir side, is a sweet cherry on the cake!

Itinerary for Trek -

Day-01

To assemble at Kasara station at 03:00 pm. departure to village samrad from Kasara by Private vehicle.
05:30 pm. Freshen Up, tea & snacks at camp site
07.00 pm: camp fire & live music

Day: 02
06.00 am: Wake up call
07.30 am: Breakfast
08.30 am: Adventure activities (Experience of Hanging tents, Valley crossing, Rappelling and Trekking)
12:30 pm. Lunch
02:00 pm. Travel from samrad to Kasara railway station
Cost-Stay, Food, Equipments and Expertise Charges included

*The cost for the trek is INR 3500/- (with transportation from kasara and back)

*Cost 2500/-(without transportation )

*Group discount can be Given.

Things to carry:
1) Identity proof (must)
2) A bottle of water (atleast 3 ltrs)
3) Torch with an extra batteries (compulsory)
4) Some ready to eat food like cake, biscuits etc.
5) Sleeping bag/ proper bedding.
6) Proper trekking shoes with good sole.
7) A set of an extra socks, track pant and t - shirt is requested.

A ruck sack/haversack to put in all the things to be carried, so that one has ones hands free while trekking. Please do not carry sling bags or Jholas.

Don'ts:

1) Please do not carry gold ornaments or any other valuables.
2) Avoid sneakers/slipper on trek.
3) Camera, binocular is allowed at your own risk
4) Smoking and drinking alcohol is strictly prohibited.
5) Trek leader’s decision will be final,

for own safety and security please follow the expert’s/instructors advice on trek

Exclusions:

1) Mineral water/lime water/ purchased for personal consumption.
2) Food/tea purchased during travelling to camp site and back.
3) Any medical emergency/evacuation if required.
4) Travel cost from Mumbai to Kasara and back.
