About Satpura
Satpura National Park is a national park located in the central
Indian state of Madhya Pradesh. It was established in 1981 and covers an area
of about 1,524 square kilometers (588 square miles). The park is part of the
larger Satpura Range, which is a part of the larger Satpura-Maikal landscape.

Madhai Zone : Madhai Zone is one of the popular safari zones

Panaarpani (Pachmarhi) Zone : Pachmarhi Zone is another
important safari zone in Satpura National Park. It is located near the town of

scenic landscapes, waterfalls, and a chance to spot wildlife such as leopards,
bison, and various bird species.
Bheemkund(Churna) Zone : Churna is located in the eastern

Mallupura Zone : Apart from above zones, satpura National
Park has buffer zones Burgodi (Pipariya), Jamani Dev, Parsapani, Tamia
Delakhari that surround the core area of the park. These buffer zones are also

beauty of the region.

wildlife habitat and human settlements. These zones often have restrictions on
